Brendan is the Director of Rehabilitation and the founder of Mass Bay Spine & Sport Physical Therapy. Growing up in New Hampshire, he was an avid soccer player and competitive skier, which fueled his passion for physical health and sports.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire in 1996, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Notre Dame College. Brendan later completed his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at the EIM Institute.
With over 20 years of experience and advanced training in manual techniques from the Institute of Orthopedic and Manual Therapy in Winchester, MA, Brendan employs an active therapy approach that combines hands-on techniques with carefully graded exercises and patient feedback. This methodology maximizes patient outcomes and minimizes recovery time.
Additionally, Brendan oversees the day to day business operations of his practice and dedicates much of his time to cultivating a cohesive organization that values and emphasizes the individual achievements of each member. He enjoys mentoring team members to grow clinically and develop as professionals. He is an active member of the Private Practice section of the APTA.
Brendan has called the South Shore home since 1999, where he raises four children with his wife, Carolyn. In his free time, he enjoys boating, fishing, and coaching and playing soccer.
Patricia Simms, PT, NDT

Patti Simms, PT is a seasoned physical therapist who joined the MBSSPT team in May of 2008. She graduated from Northeastern University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Early in her career, Patti dedicated 10+ years to working in short and long-term rehabilitation settings, specializing in treatment of patients with traumatic brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson's Disease, and other neurologic disorders. Patti has training in both NDT (Neurodevelopmental Techniques) and LSVT BIG, a specific treatment approach designed for the Parkinson's population.
Her passion for helping patients achieve an improved daily functional lifestyle led her to also pursue certifications in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, and Women's Fitness. Patti's diverse background in physical therapy and personal training, combined with her dedication to fitness and wellness, allows her to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and patients alike, empowering them to achieve their health and fitness goals.
While continuing her role as a per diem physical therapist and clinical resource at MBSSPT, Patti additionally works privately as a personal trainer, leveraging her expertise to assist clients in reclaiming their daily activities through enhanced functional movement and total body strength.
Residing in Marshfield since 1993, Patti is an enthusiastic exercise advocate with a passion for recreational cycling, both on the road and mountain biking, which she has enjoyed for over 25 years.
Kerin Murphy, PT, DPT

With over a decade of dedicated experience in physical therapy, Kerin Murphy, DPT is a seasoned professional specializing in the treatment of varied and complex orthopedic injuries. Kerin is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Kerin graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Physical Therapy, equipped with a solid foundation in evidence-based practices.
Kerin is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in physical therapy. Early in her career Kerin completed a one year Residency Program through the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, gaining knowledge and experience in advanced manual treatment techniques with emphasis on evaluation and treatment of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. She continues to pursue further continuing education focused on current and advanced treatment of the shoulder and knee, cervical and lumbar spine, ACL rehabilitation, and total joint replacement. She is certified in Graston Technique. By integrating the latest techniques into her practice, Kerin ensures that she can provide the most effective and up-to-date care for her patients.
Throughout her career, Kerin has successfully treated a diverse range of orthopedic conditions, from sports injuries to post-operative rehabilitation. She combines expertise with empathy, working closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
Elizabeth Corsetti, PT, DPT

Elizabeth Corsetti, DPT, is a dedicated physical therapist, originally from New Hampshire. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
Before joining the MBSSPT team, Elizabeth gained extensive clinical experience across various settings, including outpatient orthopedics, acute rehabilitation, and pediatrics. Her diverse background has equipped her with the skills to effectively treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitative needs.
Elizabeth is committed to advancing her skills and knowledge in the field of physical therapy. She is trained in the Graston Technique, a specialized form of manual therapy that aids in soft tissue mobilization and rehabilitation. Additionally, she has completed continuing education programs focused on the management of the lumbar spine with the Institute of Clinical Excellence and knee rehabilitation through programming developed by Mike Reinold, a renowned expert in sports rehabilitation.
With a special interest in pediatric and geriatric physical therapy, Elizabeth is passionate about providing comprehensive healthcare tailored to each individual's unique needs. Elizabeth emphasizes a holistic approach to healing, blending her clinical proficiency with compassionate care and customized treatment strategies to enhance patient outcomes. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or seeking specialized care for pediatric or geriatric concerns, Elizabeth Corsetti, DPT is dedicated to guiding you on your path to improved physical function and overall well-being.
In addition to her clinical work, Elizabeth serves as our Clinical Education Coordinator, where she mentors and supervises aspiring physical therapists in their clinical experiences. She is passionate about fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals and ensuring high standards of care within the field.
Robert Stravinsky, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Robert was born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts, attending UMass Amherst where he earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2015. From there, he went on to attend Boston University, earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019. Robert began his career working in outpatient orthopedics in the Greater Boston area, before joining the Mass Bay Spine and Sport team in January 2023.
Robert completed a year long, post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2021, further honing his clinical reasoning and manual skills. In addition, he presented his academic practicum research on Blood Flow Restriction Training at the APTA annual conference and is certified in providing such treatment. His clinical interests include treating spinal conditions, rehabilitating sport and post-op injuries, as well as geriatric rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Robert finds himself very active with activities such as fishing, boating, surfing, snowboarding, and working out regularly. In addition, he is an avid New England sports fan and enjoys live music entertainment. He uses free time to spend with his family and 4 year old golden retriever, Murphy.
Rosalie Caracciolo

Rosalie is a dedicated physical therapist who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University. Originally from New York, she has made the Boston area her home since attending Northeastern.
Before joining the Mass Bay Spine and Sport team, Rosalie gained diverse clinical experience, including acute neurologic rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. Her extensive clinical background has equipped her with the skills to effectively treat a wide range of conditions.
Rosalie is committed to advancing her knowledge and skills in physical therapy. She has received training in pelvic floor rehabilitation from the Institute of Clinical Excellence, focusing on pregnancy, postpartum, and athletics, enhancing her ability to provide specialized care in this critical area of physical therapy. Additionally, she has attended furthering education courses including Rehabilitation of the Injured Runner, Lumbar Spine Management, the IIRM 2019 Sports Medicine Conference focused on Interprofessional Management of Endurance Medicine, and Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques for the Spine and Core, and the APTA Combined Sections Meeting. She is also certified in the Graston Technique, a specialized form of manual therapy.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Rosalie has a rich athletic background. She was a competitive Irish Dancer for many years, participated in collegiate Cross Country and Track and Field, and has additional experience in soccer, swimming, and triathlons. She is currently active in a local running group and CrossFit.
Rosalie's personal and athletic experiences contribute to her holistic approach to patient care. She understands firsthand the dedication required for athletic pursuits and strives to tailor her treatment plans to meet the individual needs and goals of each patient.

Amy Kirley, PTA
Physical Therapy Assistant (Marshfield Clinic)
Amy Kirley, PTA, LMT is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a passion for promoting health and wellness through rehabilitative care. Additionally, she is a licensed massage therapist, combining therapeutic expertise to provide comprehensive treatment to patients.
With a background in physical therapy, Amy assists in implementing treatment plans designed by licensed physical therapists to help patients recover from injuries and regain mobility. She is skilled in various modalities and techniques, including Graston Technique, ensuring each session is tailored to meet the individual needs of patients.
Outside of her work in physical therapy, Amy practices massage therapy, utilizing her knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address muscular tension and promote relaxation and healing. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve optimal wellness through personalized care

Abby joined MBSSPT in 2024 as a Patient Care Coordinator, bringing extensive experience in medical front office operations and customer service. With a passion for helping others, Abby ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for all our patients.
In her free time, Abby enjoys relaxing at the beach, spending quality time with family and friends, and making cherished memories with her son. Abby is dedicated to supporting our community and looks forward to serving you!
Anne Clawson, Medical Billing & Claims Specialist

Anne has been an integral part of the MBSSPT team since 2014. As Office Manager she has extensive expertise in insurance management and patient care. With a strong background in obtaining insurance verifications and educating both patients and staff on insurance benefits, Anne ensures the smooth operation of our administrative processes. Her organizational skills and dedication contribute significantly to our commitment to providing exceptional care at MBSSPT.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending time locally with her husband, two sons, and her dog. She enjoys contributing positively both at work and within her community.
Carolyn Carman

Carolyn is co-owner of Mass Bay Spine & Sport Physical Therapy, Inc. She grew up in Braintree, MA, and currently lives on the South Shore. Carolyn is a 1994 graduate of The University of New Hampshire, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She gained valuable experience working in both adult and pediatric populations, working as a clinician in the field for 12 years. Recently, she obtained her certification in LSVT – a therapeutic program for people living with Parkinson’s and movement disorders. She has also pursued continuing education in the areas of sensory dysfunction and working with children with developmental disabilities. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys walking, being outdoors, spending time with her family, reading, music, singing, and crafting.
Brian Carman

As the oldest child of Brendan and Carolyn, Brian has been involved in the family business since 2016. Currently, he works as a Rehab Tech at our Plymouth location, where he also assists with front office operations.
Growing up, Brian was passionate about soccer, playing for 14 years with Plymouth Youth Soccer, FCUSA, and Plymouth North High School. He initially pursued a degree in Biochemistry at the University of New Hampshire but has since shifted his focus to earning a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at Southern New Hampshire University.
In his free time, Brian enjoys skiing and hiking in the mountains, traveling, playing Xbox, and playing guitar. His diverse interests and dedication to his work make him a valuable part of our team!

Erika Leydon

Erika is a dedicated Rehabilitation Tech in the Marshfield office, who brings enthusiasm and compassion to her work. Passionate about assisting patients in their journey to recovery, she finds fulfillment in supporting the rehabilitation process alongside experienced therapists.
A lifelong passion for cheerleading and tumbling has not only shaped her personal journey but also led her to years of coaching, where she inspires others to reach their goals.
Outside of work, Erika enjoys pursuing her passion for running, completing a half marathon in 2020 and a full marathon in 2022. She also has a soft spot for dogs and enjoys spending time with her own dog, Lady. Erika's commitment to patient care, combined with her personal interests, reflects her dedication to wellness and support in both professional and personal endeavors.
